Sheridan Elementary School
At Sheridan Elementary School in San Francisco, all TK-5th grade students and their families are eligible for services free of charge through partnership with Seeds of Awareness, a mindfulness-based nonprofit mental health organization headquartered in Oakland, CA.
Parents, caregivers, and school staff can request services such as ongoing child therapy, short term guidance, parenting support, participation in wellness groups, referrals and resources, advocacy, or many other types of social-emotional support for their children or students.
I offer Sheridan staff, teachers, and other outside social service providers consultations and resources, and often collaborate with a team to develop cohesive and consistent systems of support.
