CASA After School Program

Please note: As of Fall 2020  I am no longer working at CASA. Families with students enrolled at Rooftop Elementary can contact CASA's wonderful current Health & Wellness Counselor, Laurel Elliott, for support at this link.

CASA Health & Wellness

At Rooftop School in San Francisco, all K-7 students enrolled in the after school program CASA and their families are eligible for services free of charge through CASA's Health & Wellness program. Parents/Caregivers can request services such as ongoing child therapy, short term guidance, parenting support, participation in wellness groups, referrals and resources, advocacy, or many other types of social-emotional support for their children. I offer Rooftop and CASA staff, teachers, and other outside social service providers consultations and resources, and often collaborate with a team to develop cohesive and consistent systems of support
Large or small, whatever challenges your family may be facing please feel free to get in touch.

Please use the calendar to schedule initial parent-counselor consultation appointments to discuss any questions or concerns you may have regarding your child's well-being. Once parent consent has been obtained, ongoing meetings with students are scheduled directly with that student and do not need to be booked online; however, parents will be contacted for approval of the student's requested appointment time. Also check out our wellness group offerings; you can submit your child's name for participation in the groups on the following page or on the sign up sheets in the CASA bungalow.

MISSION POSSIBLE:
A Magical Musical Starring 200 Kids, a Bevy of Naked Mole Rats & Some Rainbow Unicorns!

Purchase tickets at https://missionpossible.bpt.me

A spirited group of middle schoolers land in detention after protesting the name of their school, and defacing the statue of it's namesake, Rupert E. Hammerhead. The school is named after a (fictional) former president who enforced a racist and sexist agenda and didn't care about the environment.

While in detention, the kids sneak into the teachers' lounge on a mission to find popsicles, but they find so much more! A portal in the freezer takes them to a magical underground world full of dancing unicorns and charming mole rats. How will the kids take on the impossible mission of uniting their community and saving their school?

Mission Possible is an original musical created in collaboration with professional writers, designers, directors and 200 CASA kids! Chock full of science, spies, and silliness, this sparkly dose of a brighter future is sure to put a smile on your face.

TWO DAYS ONLY:
Saturday, May 5th at 6pm and Sunday, May 6th at 2pm
Lowell High School's Carol Channing Theater
1101 Eucalyptus Dr, SF

Help CASA celebrate 21 years of radical art making with SF youth!
